ISCFS

The ISCFS XII Biennial International Congress was held on August 23-25, 2007, in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. 272 Delegates attended, with 142 scientific paper presentations, 41 panel presentations, and 117 poster presentations. The Congress was represented by renowned craniofacial surgeons from 33 countries and was deemed a success by all who attended. Special guest speakers Christophe Moure, MD, and Laurent Lantieri, MD, representing the first and third human facial transplant surgery teams (respectively), gave powerful presentations describing the myriad issues involved in these landmark cases.

The ISCFS thanks everyone who participated in this meeting and we look forward to seeing you in Oxford in 2009.
